Uniforms

Construction sites require specialized uniforms. Part of the required uniform includes a hard hat to protect against head injuries, goggles for eye protection and steel-toed boots that protect the feet. Equipment

Equipment such as ladders, scaffolds, and other machinery must meet certain codes and regulations to be used on a site. In addition, equipment is subject to regular inspections to ensure proper working order.

Emergencies

Every site needs easily accessible emergency equipment such as a fire extinguisher, first aid kit and a defibrillator as well as having at least one person trained in the use of the equipment.
